When I was a young boy living on a farm in Northern Ireland in 1955, I was a huge fan of Fangio and the Mercedes F1 team. I wrote to Mercedes requesting a lapel badge, not expecting a reply, since I probably wrote to Mercedes Benz, Stuttgart, Germany in my school boy handwriting. I was delighted and surprised to not only receive a lapel badge but also the attached autographed photo. 65 years later it's time to pass it on so I'm willing to sell it to another Fangio/Mercedes enthusiast. It is unmounted, measures 10.5 x 14.5 cms and is in good but not perfect condition. Best offer over £350.00. ...
